Job Title: Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Location: Dorval - in office and on the road

Job Summary

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating deliveries and shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role supports both the field and office teams by maintaining organized inventory systems, sourcing materials at competitive prices, and facilitating smooth logistics for projects.

This role is primarily based in the warehouse but may require occasional travel to job sites and suppliers. Some lifting and physical activity may be necessary. Duties may evolve as business needs change

Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Shipping

  • Coordinate and track all courier shipments and deliveries.
  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules for the company driver using the company vehicle and prepare all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Perform deliveries and pick-ups as needed.
  • Obtain quotes for LTL and full-load shipments.
  • Manage and resolve transport damage claims.
  • Ensure maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles.

Purchasing

  • Source quotes and issue purchase orders for project and inventory needs.
  • Obtain RMAs for returning materials purchased by the company.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

Inventory Management

  • Prepare and organize supplies and equipment for job sites.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and make necessary adjustments.
  • Manage the purchase of shipping and packing materials.
  • Track inventory transfers between projects.

Equipment Rental

  • Source quotes for rental equipment required on job sites.
  • Issue and manage rental purchase orders.
  • Coordinate timely return of equipment upon project completion.

Additional Duties

  • Submit permit applications at city hall when required.
  • Purchase miscellaneous supplies from local hardware stores.
  • Arrange for waste disposal containers for job sites.
  • Conduct Costco and supply runs for office/kitchen needs.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and ensure all equipment remains in good working condition.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control and Excel
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Experience driving delivery vehicles
  • Familiarity with local city streets
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Bilingual (French proficiency required)
  • Valid driver's license required

Ce poste est principalement basé à l'entrepôt, mais peut nécessiter des déplacements occasionnels sur les chantiers et chez les fournisseurs. Il peut être nécessaire de soulever des charges et d'effectuer certaines tâches physiques. Les fonctions peuvent évoluer en fonction des besoins de l'entreprise.

Responsabilités principales

Transport et expédition

  • Coordonner et suivre toutes les expéditions et livraisons par coursier.
  • Coordonner les horaires de livraison quotidiens du chauffeur de l'entreprise en utilisant le véhicule de société, et préparer toute la documentation nécessaire.
  • Effectuer les livraisons et les enlèvements selon les besoins.
  • Obtenir des devis pour les expéditions LTL et à pleine charge.
  • Gérer et résoudre les réclamations pour dommages liés au transport.
  • Assurer l'entretien et la maintenance des véhicules de l'entreprise.

Achats

  • Obtenir des devis et émettre des bons de commande pour les besoins des projets et des stocks.
  • Obtenir des autorisations de retour de matériel acheté par l'entreprise.
  • Entretenir les relations avec les fournisseurs afin de garantir la qualité et la rentabilité.

Gestion des stocks

  • Préparer et organiser les fournitures et l'équipement pour les chantiers.
  • Effectuer des inventaires réguliers et procéder aux ajustements nécessaires.
  • Gérer l'achat des matériaux d'expédition et d'emballage.
  • Suivre les transferts de stocks entre les projets.

Location d'équipement

  • Obtenir des devis pour le matériel de location nécessaire sur les chantiers.
  • Émettre et gérer les bons de commande de location.
  • Coordonner le retour du matériel dans les délais impartis à la fin du projet.

Tâches supplémentaires

  • Soumettre les demandes de permis à la mairie lorsque cela est nécessaire.
  • Acheter des fournitures diverses dans les quincailleries locales.
  • Organiser la mise en place de conteneurs pour l'élimination des déchets sur les chantiers.
  • Effectuer des achats chez Costco et d'autres fournisseurs pour les besoins du bureau et de la cuisine.
  • Maintenir l'organisation de l'entrepôt et s'assurer que tout l'équipement reste en bon état de fonctionnement.

Qualifications requises
