As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the MedPro Sleep Apnea Clinic.

Position Overview:As a Respiratory Therapist with MedPro, you will play a pivotal role in providing patient-centered care to individuals seeking sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, administering therapies, educating patients, and ensuring the highest standards of care. A strong interest in patient-centered experiences, along with knowledge of customer service and healthcare benefits/insurance, will be advantageous in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments to diagnose sleep apnea and determine appropriate treatment plans.

Patient Education: Educate patients on the proper use of equipment, therapy compliance, and lifestyle adjustments to improve sleep quality.

Consultation: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.

Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and needs with empathy and professionalism.

Insurance and Benefits: Assist patients in understanding their extended health care benefits and insurance coverage related to sleep apnea treatment.

Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Strong interest in providing patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles.
  • Familiarity with extended health care benefits and insurance processes (a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team.
