SaskWest Mechanical is looking to add a new member to our Residential and Commercial service team. We offer Premium Hourly Rates, Benefits, Pension, and Long-term Employment. Our Service staff works closely with our Construction side and are encouraged to be well rounded in all areas of the trade. Service staff member are expected to be available to rotate in our Emergency On-call service which runs 365 days a year.

Necessary Experience

  • Installing Furnaces, Water Haters, and Air Conditioners

  • Troubleshooting and repairing Furnaces, Air conditioners, Water Heaters, RTU's, Air Handlers, and Boilers

Necessary Skills

  • Ability to take instructions and self-manage work

  • Documenting all work as required by the office

  • Strong communication skills

  • Work well with a team to complete a goal

  • Ability to participate in and adhere to a COR Safety program

  • Threading and installation of new gas lines

  • Venting of gas equipment

  • Relocating water lines

  • Startup and commissioning equipment

  • General construction related to installations

  • Troubleshooting controls systems

  • Commercial HVAC equipment servicing

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Plumber (Red-seal / IP)

  • Saskatchewan Domestic Gas fitting license

  • Must have a valid driver's license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$44.00 per hour
