Responsibilities And Duties

  • Deliver a wide range of care services, including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure quality care.
  • Provide compassionate support to clients in-home care and long-term care settings

Requirements

  • LPN Registry with NSCN: Must be active on the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) Registry without any conditions.
  • Experience: minimum 5 years preferred. Experience with IWK considered an asset
  • Skills & Attitude: Strong communication skills, a positive outlook, and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility & Reliability: Committed to providing compassionate, dependable care.
  • Paediatric experience
  • Experience with an oxygen machine
  • Driver's license and car
  • Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Recent Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check.
