Barber Collins security is looking for a part time Security Guard to work at a NSOC as a national dispatch operator.

Shifts:

Week 1 (32 hours):

• Friday and Saturday from 10:30 pm to 10:30 am
• Sunday from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am

Week 2 (16 hours): Monday and Tuesday from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am

• 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Afternoon/evening shift

These hours are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:

• Protect company's properties and staff by overseeing an international CCTV monitoring system.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences. This would require video retention, conduct alarm audits and access control audits.
• Monitor and control clients BAS alarm system and fire panel.
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
• Follow corresponding duties require by the international alarm/access control for the facility/area.
• Communicate regularly and directly with the client and the tenants internationally.
• Able to conduct appropriate emergency escalations and communications.
• Perform any other SOC duties required.
• Ensuring that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
• Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

Pay: $20.65 per hour
