Do you have security experience and a valid BC Security Workers License? Are you looking to work with a dedicated and diverse team? The Strathcona Hotel is looking to hire 1 person to provide daytime security.

REQUIREMENTS
    • Valid BC Security Workers License
  • Serving it Right
  • Basic First Aid (OFA 1)
  • Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings (*Must be available weekends*)
  • 2 years of related experience
  • The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Conduct patrols of various areas
  • Knowledge of security protocol and procedures
  • Professional approach to the role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
  • Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a 'hands on' approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required
  • A calm demeanor
  • Possess strong knowledge of security procedures
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
