Support Planning and Scheduling activities

• Prepare project schedule with best planning practices
• Load Resource/Budget Schedule
• Set up Baseline Schedule
• Update Schedule Provide guidance and support to lower level planners
• Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller
• Issue schedule for internal & external use
• Monitor and control the progress of the work against the Schedule
• Prepare and update Resource requirements reports
• Report critical schedule issues
• Identification and explanation of variances between current schedule, plan, earned values and forecasts, and communicate to the Project Controls Manager, Project Manager
• Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all projects and portfolios within the P&L through the whole project cycle
• Present updates to Lead/Manager/Project or P&L lead
• Advise on the areas of concern that could prevent meeting the P&L'objectives
• Interface with other Project Control Team to maintain integrated cost-schedule project control system

• Must have University degree (B. Eng, BCom, etc).
• 3+ years of relevant planning experience under EPC projects environment.
• Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and a number of years of hands on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
• Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
• Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
• Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team
• Ability to work with project cost controller
