Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As a Senior Product Manager (Digital Acquisition), you will lead the strategic direction and vision for Vancity's banking products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and member needs. This role focuses on high-level decision-making, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful product initiatives. We're looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can balance innovation with execution and drive meaningful outcomes for our members.

This is a Full-time, Temporary role that can be performed remotely from Ontario or British Columbia and will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Banking Products. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands 


How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Leading the development and refinement of product vision and strategy
  • Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscapes to inform decisions
  • Prioritizing product features, releases, and improvements based on business impact
  • Collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Communicating product roadmap and updates to executives and stakeholders
  • Coordinating with ITS, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams for execution
  • Engaging with key customers and partners to validate assumptions and gather feedback
  • Driving pricing recommendations and execution of pricing grid changes with ALCO subcommittee
  • Championing digital acquisition strategies for deposit and banking products, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize conversion and engagement
  • Leading and mentoring a cross-functional product pod (design, engineering, marketing) using Agile Scrum practices to deliver iterative value
  • Driving end-to-end product lifecycle management for digital onboarding and acquisition journeys, ensuring seamless member experiences
  • Collaborating with analytics and marketing teams to design and execute acquisition campaigns that align with product goals
  • Ensuring compliance and risk management considerations are embedded in product design and delivery for financial services

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, preferably in financial services
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution of product initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and pricing strategies
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks
  • Deep understanding of financial services and deposit products, including regulatory and competitive landscapes
  • Proven success in digital acquisition initiatives, such as online account opening, digital onboarding, and funnel optimization
  • Experience leading Agile pods or squads, with strong knowledge of Scrum ceremonies and backlog management
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across technology, marketing, and operations to achieve shared objectives

What You'll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of $91,000 to $136,400 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
