Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gas Technician Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas systems and appliances, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various gas-related equipment. Previous experience with gas systems, and/or schooling would be required. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in plumbing and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial settings under the guidance of a licensed gas technician.
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to gas heating and water heating systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on gas systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding gas systems.

Skills

  • Knowledge of gas equipment would be an asset.
  • Experience in construction may be beneficial for installation tasks.

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Expected hours: 30 – 48 per week
