Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting daily business functions, ensuring smooth operational workflows, and contributing to overall organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Oversee daily hair salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and operational coverage
  • Supervise team performance and support process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Monitor sales performance, reports, and key operational metrics
  • Handle client service matters and maintain service standards
  • Support onboarding and internal training procedures
  • Assist ownership with operational planning and business growth initiatives

Experience

  • Previous experience in operations, administration, or related roles is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of the hair salon industry, including hairstyling services and salon operations, in order to effectively support staff and daily workflows
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • French and English required, Arabic an asset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience in hair salons, beauty, wellness, hospitality, or service-based environments
  • Previous experience working in a professional hair salon environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, or reporting software
  • Knowledge of Québec workplace standards and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
