Job Description:

ShipFPT Inc. offers a wide array of transportation solutions and strives to remain on the cutting edge of freight forwarding by moving ahead and keeping up with the latest industry trends and regulations. Our head office, located in Mississauga, is seeking a talented and experienced Air Export Co-ordinator to join the Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Coordinate export shipments with overseas agents, vendors and shippers

· Prepare quotes/rates to clients

· Liaison with Airlines, truckers and vendors

· Arrange the collection/pickups, create MAWB/HAWB and all relative documentation; CERS, etc.,

· Ensure exports are processed based on country requirements

· Monitor shipments and respond to inquiries from agents and clients in a timely manner

· Responsible for data entry into operating system

· Ensure shipments are billed and vendor payables processed in a timely manner

· Perform and complete duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

· Maintain excellent contact with shippers and various service providers

· Inform clients of external factors (ie. Shipping options, timeline changes, regulations)

· Negotiate shipping rates with freight carriers

Skills and Qualifications:

· Ability to handle and prioritize a high volume of work

· Strong attention to detail and organization

· Ability to work independently and/or able to work co-operatively with a team

· An interest in streamlining processes as well as a passion for detail and improvements

· Self motivated and goal oriented

· Ability to effectively represent the company and communicate with individuals at varying technical levels

· Outstanding communication and written skills

· Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: Competitive industry standard salary + Commission

Expected start date: ASAP
