Local Position Simcoe County and Muskoka

Riverstone Contracting Corporation is seeking a highly experienced AZ Driver with proven tag trailer and pintle hitch experience. This role includes snow removal, excavation support, and hauling aggregates and materials from local quarries. This position is for professional drivers only who take pride in safe operation, equipment care, and reliability.

This is not an entry level role. We are looking for a long term local driver who understands year round construction and seasonal operations.

Position requirements

Valid AZ license

Recent clean drivers abstract required

Strong experience hauling heavy construction equipment using a tag trailer with pintle hitch

Ability to load secure and transport excavators skid steers rollers and attachments

Experience hauling aggregates and materials from quarries

Strong understanding of weight limits axle distribution and MTO compliance

Ability to operate equipment for loading and unloading

Comfortable working in all weather conditions including winter snow operations

Experience working on active excavation and construction sites

Safety housekeeping and maintenance

Daily pre trip and post trip inspections are mandatory

Routine equipment inspections and defect reporting required

Proper housekeeping of truck trailer and cab at all times

Ability to identify mechanical issues and report them immediately

Respect for company maintenance standards and cleanliness expectations

Snow removal duties

Experience operating trucks during winter conditions

Reliable and available for snow events including early mornings nights and extended hours

Strong winter driving skills and safety awareness

Professional standards

Clean driving record and safety first mindset

Professional attitude and appearance

Healthy lifestyle and dependable work ethic

Strong communication skills with supervisors and site personnel

Respect for equipment job sites and the public

Local knowledge

Strong understanding of Simcoe County Muskoka and surrounding regions
