Company Overview

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Finance & Operations Coordinator who wants to make a real impact in a growing landscaping and construction business. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise with QuickBooks Online, LMN, and financial administration to help shape and improve our processes, ensure data accuracy, and support both field and office operations.

What You'll Do

  • QuickBooks Management: Maintain Chart of Accounts, track capital purchases and depreciation, manage inventory, employee setup, reconciliations, and support tax filings.
  • Invoicing & Accounts Receivable: Oversee LMN and QuickBooks invoicing, monitor fixed-price and T&M projects, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Prepare monthly P&L comparisons, track key business metrics, and participate in management review meetings.
  • Taxable Benefits & Compliance: Process vehicle and club benefits, manage HST adjustments, and support payroll and government submissions.
  • LMN & Project Oversight: Maintain accurate customer/job setups, update material costs and templates, monitor project progress, and support annual budgeting.
  • Process Improvement & Operations Support: Streamline internal processes, monitor spending, review contracts, advise on investments and equipment, and provide backup support to the team.

Who You Are

  • Experienced with QuickBooks Online (required) and LMN or similar project software (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, inventory, and capital asset and accrual accounting
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Enjoys taking ownership, improving systems, and supporting a growing company.
  • Comfortable collaborating with both office and field teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, templates, and budgeting.
  • Hold relevant accounting certification ( bookkeeping certification, CGA, CPA completed or in progress).

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
