Community Outreach
We are looking for a high-energy, persuasive, and relationship-driven Community Outreach & Admissions Coordinator to help grow our daycare family.
In this role, you won't just be sitting behind a desk; you will be the "face" of our center in the local community. Your primary goal is to build strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create a steady stream of referrals, and then personally guide those families through the enrollment process until they sign on the dotted line.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnership & Networking
- Identify and approach local businesses (pediatricians, realtors, HR departments of large employers, fitness centers, etc.) to establish formal referral partnerships.
- Organize and attend local community events, fairs, and "meet-and-greets" to build brand awareness.
- Negotiate and implement "Preferred Provider" programs for employees of partner companies.
2. Lead Management & Conversion
- Act as the primary point of contact for all new inquiries generated through outreach efforts.
- Conduct engaging, personalized tours of the daycare facility that highlight our unique curriculum and safety standards.
- Maintain a rigorous follow-up schedule via phone, email, and text to keep prospective parents engaged.
3. Sales & Enrollment Pipeline
- Manage the "sales funnel" from the initial handshake at a community event to the first day of enrollment.
- Address parental concerns, overcome objections, and provide all necessary documentation to "close the deal."
- Track and report on outreach metrics (e.g., number of new leads, partnership meetings held, and conversion rates).
4. Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in sales, community relations, or admissions (experience in childcare or education is a plus, but not required).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you should be as comfortable pitching to a CEO as you are chatting with a parent.
- Hustle: A "self-starter" mentality with the ability to work independently and find creative ways to reach new families.
- Organization: Strong CRM or lead-tracking skills to ensure no family falls through the cracks during the follow-up process.
- Personality: Warm, empathetic, and professional.
Why Join Us?
- Impact: You play a direct role in helping families find a safe, nurturing environment for their children.
- Autonomy: We give you the freedom to own your territory and develop your own outreach strategies.
- Growth: Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives for successful enrollments.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
Benefits:
- Company events
- Flexible schedule
- Mileage reimbursement
- Paid time off
- Work from home
Location:
- Red Deer, AB (preferred)
Work Location: In person
