Toromont Cat is looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Bilingual Talent Acquisition/Onboarding Coordinator to join our Human Resources team This role will ensure an engaging experience for all key stakeholders in the recruiting process and actively participate in the onboarding transition for new employees. In a typical day, YOU will:

  • Understand, model and promote the safety behaviours that Toromont is committed to for a best-in-class safety culture.
  • Effectively collaborate and partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure all process steps are flawlessly carried out through the full cycle process of recruiting and onboarding process for a successful hire including: job postings, managing applicant / candidate set-up and activity in ATS, handle offer letters, ensures process effectiveness, launch onboarding, and professionally answer /direct questions from the business
  • Effectively communicates and follows-up with new hires and business leaders to ensure required pre-boarding documents are collected, validated, and managed into UKG Recruiting in a timely manner.
  • Proactive liaises with the business and hiring managers in support of bridging and a smooth transition of all new hires into the company.
  • Responds to and/or directs general enquiries and questions from stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives or projects, and other related tasks as may be required.

Must-haves for this role:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences; a demonstrated passion for talent acquisition and onboarding.
  • Bilingual French/English, with up to 3 years of HR experience, preferably with recruitment and onboarding.
  • Experience working with ATS's and recruiting processes; experience with UKG Recruiting module is an asset; experience working with skilled trades and/or the industrial sector is an asset.
  • Proactive orientation with a desire to drive and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Strong attention to detail, and effective organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Willing and able to travel (as may be necessary) to participate and represent Toromont at Recruiting events.
