Are you passionate about swimming and eager to help others thrive in the water? WD Swim in Markham is expanding, and we're seeking energetic, dedicated individuals to join our team as Swim/Aquatic Instructors. Our vibrant and fast-paced swim school focuses on water safety, skill development, and nurturing a supportive environment for swimmers of all ages.

Position: Swim/Aquatic Instructor

Location: Markham, ON

Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities Available

What You'll Do:

  • Lead small, personalized group lessons (maximum of 4 students per class) for swimmers at all skill levels.
  • Create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to improve.
  • Ensure safety in and around the water, responding to emergencies when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the WD Swim team to keep everyone informed.

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for aquatics and working with children.
  • Previous swim teaching experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship available).
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts.

  • 8-hour shifts with potential for overtime.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay: $ $30.00 per hour.
