We are currently looking for a mature, responsible, and dependable Security Supervisor to lead our security team with integrity, sound judgment, professionalism and eager to learn. This role involves regular patrols, incident response, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch and site management. The right candidate will be dependable, proactive, and capable of adapting to evolving security needs.

Job Summary:

The Security Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations of the security team. Making sure all team members and clients staff are compliant to site specific regulations. Ensuring that safety protocols and company policies are consistently followed. The right candidate is someone who leads by example, and earns the respect of the security team and must also have respect for all team members. They can handle pressure with a calm demeanor, and takes their responsibility for safety seriously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of security personnel
  • Mentor, train, and support new and existing staff
  • Make sure our team members are are in their proper site specific gear and ensuring BC WorkSafe regulations are followed
  • Ensure that all team members are punctual, professional, and alert
  • Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance systems
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies effectively and appropriately
  • Write accurate and detailed incident reports
  • Conduct regular inspections of posts and security procedures
  • Enforce access control and site-specific policies
  • Communicate regularly with site management and law enforcement when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Mature and responsible individuals who take pride in their work
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in security
  • Have First Aid Level - Advanced
  • Valid security guard license/certification (as required by law)
  • Excellent judgment, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
  • Physically capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods
  • Ability to remain alert and respond quickly during overnight shifts
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays if needed
  • Previous experience on Construction sites and Warehouses is an asset
