About the role: As the Yard & Maintenance Worker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, warehouse and cardlock. The ideal candidate is a skilled Maintenance Worker who will keep our facilities tidy and functional by assuming responsibility for repairs and cleaning. Candidates with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and reliability are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

· Skid steer operation

· Forklift operations

· Dipping tanks

· Loading bulk fuel

· Propane filling

· Maintain office, public washrooms and cardlock facility

· Inspect and perform minor repairs

· Do yard upkeep by collecting trash, dusting, mopping etc.

· Site preventative maintenance inspections

· Provide excellent customer service to UFA's customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Candidate requirements:

· _ Will be required to pass (negative result) a drug (includes cannabis) and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment._

· Clean driver's abstract with no suspensions

· A valid Class 5 Driver's License

· Previous working experience as a Maintenance Worker

· Able to lift 50lbs

. Must demonstrate reliability, strong attention to detail, and accuracy in all aspects of work.

· Highschool Diploma/GED

· Forklift experience

· Hand on experience with hand and electrical tools

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

A 90-day probation period.
