We are seeking a Foot Care Nurse to join our team The qualified RN or RPN will work to provide footcare within our various clinics. Our Advanced Footcare clinics are located in Cambridge, New Hamburg and Stratford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for part time hours (with opportunity for full time) depending on the agreed upon clinics serviced.

The ability to meet the normal requirements of the job, including but not restricted to:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess and maintain a current RN or RPN Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, with no restrictions
  • Certification of Advanced Foot Care required (willing to discuss training if necessary)*
  • Willingness to take Level 1 and 2 for the Art of Burring Certification*, as a part of continuing education
  • Experience in geriatric and diabetic foot care an asset
  • Ability to organize work and implement a plan of care
  • English proficiency in interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • A caring and empathetic attitude is crucial
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficiency with email, internet use and computerized documentation.
  • Knowledge of the Jane App and/or willingness to learn the system
  • Current and maintenance of annual Adult CPR certification
  • Member of WeRPN and/or ONA in good standing
  • Member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses (CAFCN)

Applicant preference will be given to candidates available to service all three of our locations; Cambridge, Stratford and New Hamburg.
