As a Driver Trainer, you'll play a key role in preparing new and existing drivers to meet our high standards of safety and service. You'll be responsible for delivering classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, ensuring drivers are confident, compliant, and ready to serve the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct classroom and in-vehicle training for new and existing school bus drivers
  • Deliver instruction on defensive driving, safety procedures, company policies, and provincial regulations
  • Evaluate driver performance and provide coaching or retraining as needed
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new drivers
  • Support compliance with Ministry of Transportation and company standards
  • Collaborate with location management to identify training needs and improve safety outcomes
Qualifications
  • Valid Ontario Class B license with air brake endorsement
  • Previous experience as a driver trainer or school bus driver (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and coach others
  • Knowledge of Ontario traffic laws and school bus safety regulations
  • Comfortable with both classroom and hands-on instruction
  • Organized and detail-oriented
