OverviewDimitri's Restaurant is looking to hire a qualified individual delivery of food to customer houses.Details Regarding This Position:· This is a part-time position ranging from hours a week· The shifts can be any day of the week depending (this includes weekends and holidays)· Typically the shift will start around 3PM – 5PM and will end around 9PM - 10PM· Wage is $19.00 per hour + plus you keep 100% of the tips you earnWhat You Need to Qualify:MUST have valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicleMUST have knowledge of the streets and Residential addressesPrevious delivery experience is an asset, but we are willing to train if necessaryFlexible with hours and scheduleGood communication, writing and mathematical skillsWhat A Work Day Will Consist Of (but not limited to):· Prompt and efficient delivery of food to customers' homes· Answer phone calls to take food orders, confirm details and accurately calculate total· Cut, prepare and store vegetables, meat and cheese· Operate kitchen equipment and appliances safely and correctly· Assist with inventory management of supplies and ingredients· Unpack, organize and store supplies and ingredients· Fold pizza boxes and prepare packaging materials· Bagging food for delivery and pickup orders· Perform additional related duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations· Be able to lift, pull and push a moderate weightBe able to follow instructions and proceduresComfortable taking directions and working under supervisionFlexible and adaptable to changing needsBe comfortable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced settingBe comfortable answering phone calls to take food ordersHow to Apply:Apply in person at Dimitri's Restaurant (3723 Redford Street, Port Alberni) between the hours of 10 AM – 12 PM>>> Serious Inquiries Only Please
