Overview:

The PC Skin Application Technician is responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing protective skins on computers and laptop. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and care to ensure that all skins are applied smoothly and accurately, maintaining both aesthetic quality and product protection standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare devices for skinning by cleaning and inspecting surfaces to ensure they are free of dust, oils, and debris.
  • Measure and align skins accurately according to device model and specifications.
  • Apply skins or vinyl wraps using approved tools and techniques to prevent air bubbles, wrinkles, or misalignment.
  • Trim excess material carefully to achieve clean and professional edges.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure proper adhesion and quality finish.
  • Maintain proper handling of devices to avoid scratches, damage, or contamination during the process.
  • Organize and maintain skin materials, tools, and workspace in a neat and safe condition.
  • Record and report any defective materials or discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
  • Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and standard operating processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work with precision and consistency on repetitive tasks.
  • Basic understanding of laptop and PC structures (an asset, but not required).
  • Experience with vinyl application, detailing, or similar fine assembly work (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to suggest process improvements.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Occasionally required to work on weekends when there is a high volume of orders.)

Salary: $17.60 per hour

Location: 1851 Sandstone Manor, Pickering, ON L1W 3R9
