Brief Description

We are looking to add another skilled and experienced Framer/Carpenter to our team at First Capital Construction. The position of Framer/Carpenter is a full time, year round position. Must have the ability to work independently or as part of team on residential and commercial projects.

Hours

  • FT (40+), Permanent – Monday to Friday

Tasks

  • New home construction
  • Renovations and repairs to existing buildings
  • Rough and finish carpentry
  • Window and door installs
  • Flooring installation
  • Cabinet installation
  • Drywall installation and repair experience an asset

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent, full time, year-round position
  • Outdoor and indoor work sites
  • Heavy lifting may be required
  • Wage will be based on experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior experience in construction, framing and installation of roof systems
  • Can read and interpret construction plans including blueprints, layouts, technical details and drawings
  • Has basic hand tools, tool belt and safety footwear
  • Driver's License required
