About the role:

The Laboratory Technician (LT) provides a professional service in performing phlebotomy and electrocardiogram. In addition, the LT performs other laboratory technical and non-technical functions under supervision.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 1 year or equivalent experience
  • Experience in performing phlebotomy and ECG's
  • Previous hospital experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
  • Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients and families, as well as other members of the healthcare team within a challenging and exciting healthcare environment.
