Job Description
Reporting to the District Manager in the region, Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Lodge Management teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness and execute the strategic vision of the Senior Leadership Team. The role is to ensure there is consistency across all sites in the region, ensuring a streamlined and transparent approach between site, client and senior leadership.

  • This is a field role with at least 70% of your time in the field/travel and a hybrid work from office/home 30% of your time.
  • Salaried position inclusive of benefits.
  • Acting as the liaison between site and senior leadership, ensuring the site has access to training and support to limit immediate and future issues.
  • Lead the team of Lodge Managers to ensure compliance with proper operational procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide on site presence to the site managers, stop gap placement for site management, ensuring a functional rotational schedule for site coverage.
  • Strengthen Horizon North's operational processes to build highly efficient and effective operations, while ensure day top day scope and contract management.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities and determine root causes in operating standards and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership of the operations team ensuring effective performance management and continued development.
  • Assist in effectively and efficiently managing the development of the hospitality approach to operations team to promote high quality customer service and satisfaction. This would include a playbook for daily activities and guest interactions.
  • Lead the implementation of operational improvements in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, finance, and employee performance.
  • Ensuring the completion of daily, weekly and monthly audits and inspections at the site level.
  • Training and utilization of Sphera and FTQ 360 for safety and quality audits.
  • Support to the lodge managers for payroll approvals and submissions.
  • Participation and leadership with completing Don't Walk By's at site.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards, human rights, health and safety, and WHMIS within your span of control.
  • Managing and execution on SOW amendments where applicable to ensure a high-quality service to client.
  • Overseeing administrative Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which will be reviewed and approved by Leadership.
