The Role

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is looking for a rotational Service Truck Operator for our Fort McMurray location, who is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adhering to the work assigned to them while on the road. The position will deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction while representing the EKW brand.

Responsibilities

Responsible for responding to emergency service calls

Diagnostics, troubleshooting and subsequent repair of a variety of challenging work

Supporting customer needs under very tight timelines

Performing quality work without direct supervision and ensuring that necessary documentation is accurately maintained

Flexible regarding shifts and ability to work on call

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of:

  • A High school diploma
  • A Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with 2 to 4 years of dealership experience
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities
  • Excellent computer aptitude and skills
  • This position will be required to submit to regular/random Drug and Alcohol tests
  • Thorough understanding of our product demonstrated by significant Paccar training
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Shift

This is a rotational position. The successful applicant will have lodging accommodations available to them during their scheduled shift.
