About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Ceiling Suspension System Worker to join our team. This role involves installing suspended ceiling systems, acoustical ceiling tiles, and related components. The ideal candidate has experience working with ceiling grid frameworks, tile placement, and general interior construction.
Responsibilities:
- Install suspended ceiling systems, including T-bar grid frameworks and acoustical ceiling tiles
- Measure, cut, and fit tiles and materials accurately
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Repair or replace damaged ceiling tiles and grid sections as needed
- Assist with layout planning and ensure proper alignment and leveling
- Coordinate with other trades on-site to maintain workflow
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and project requirements
Requirements:
- Experience with suspended/T-bar ceiling installation (required)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, accurate work
- Ability to work at heights and on ladders/scaffolding
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence is a must
