Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Secretary to the Board of Directors with PROLAUNCH CORP. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, this role offers flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Secretary will be responsible for coordinating board meetings, managing communications, preparing documentation, keeping records, ensuring compliance with corporate governance practices, and providing administrative support to the Board of Directors. Additional responsibilities may include liaising with stakeholders and supporting the Board in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Board of Directors operations and in-depth knowledge of Corporate Governance practices and standards
  • Proficiency in Strategic Planning and the ability to contribute to organizational goals and initiatives
  • Experience in Public Relations and relationship management with key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Government relations and the ability to navigate regulatory requirements and support compliance
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage sensitive matters effectively
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for communication, scheduling, and document management
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a corporate setting is an asset
