Job Descriptions

Looking for a two workers, preferably a couple, to assist with day to day operation of tourist accommodations and guided horseback trail rides at Old Entrance, near Hinton, Alberta and Jasper National Park.

  • All seasonal Employees must be willing to work flexible hours and lend a hand as needed

  • Average 42 hours per week working flexible hours from mid-May to mid-September, 2024 (minimum).

  • must work well with others and be able to learn quickly

  • fluent in English

  • an interest in and some experience with horses is required.

Ranch Worker Job Requirements:

  • Basic carpentry skills and strong mechanical aptitude required

  • General maintenance of buildings, campsites, firewood, fencing and machinery

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools

  • Operate equipment skid steer loader

  • Experience handling horses (Trail Guiding requires first aid)

Housekeeper Job Requirements:

  • primarily housekeeping, including campsites

  • assistance with laundry

  • may include care of horses and assisting with guided horseback trail rides.

  • may include front office duties

  • may include some maintenance ie. outdoor yard work, flower baskets, weed control, painting

Ideal candidates will have some prior tourism, housekeeping, kitchen or horseback trail rides or farm/ranch experience and will be high energy, self-starting and personable. On-site lodging and meals available.

Salary: $3,250.00 per month each
