Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyman Lineman based in Saskatchewan, Canada. The Journeyman Lineman will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical systems. Key day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, working on energized and de-energized lines, adhering to safety standards, and providing technical expertise in electrical system operations. This role also involves managing materials and ensuring compliance with industry and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for overhead and underground systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining electrical lines and equipment
• Adherence to safety procedures, including experience with COR and ISN-certified environments
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience operating heavy equipment and tools used in electrical work is an asset
• Journeyman Lineman certification is required
• Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement is preferred
• Relevant experience within the oil, gas, or utility industries is an advantage
