The Junior Software Engineer – Full Stack .You, the ideal candidate, will enjoy the challenge of building reliable easy-to-implement components, front-end patterns, and web best-practices. In this role you will work with the team to build functional and responsive web and mobile front ends.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the engineering vision for our Web and Mobile front ends.

• Implementing and testing technical solutions that meet the requirements

• Work collaboratively with the technical staff, engineering managers, and product managers.

• Pairing with other developers on feature development and bug fixing

• Working on an agile/scrum team and contribute to continuously improve process and behaviors through regular reflection and adaptation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years in full stack web application development, which could include co-op experience

• Development experience using the React framework, Typescript and CSS in web applications

• Experience working with web services and APIs (REST or GraphQL)

• Familiarity with implementing design systems (we use MaterialUI)

• Development experience using PHP

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• FinTech domain experience

Compensation: The salary range for this role, taking into consideration qualifications and experience, is $70,000 - $80,000 CAD annually.

Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including location, experience, and expertise, and may vary from the range listed.
