Bristol Car and Truck Rentals is seeking a Full-Time Lot Attendant at our Barrie, ON location.

The schedule may vary within our business hours of: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 pm and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

What you bring:

  • A great attitude.
  • Above average customer service skills.
  • Full "G" Class Driver's license.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract.
  • The ability to drive trucks up to 24 feet long.
  • Minimum secondary school diploma.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to lift over 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to take direction well.
  • Ability to work in a changing, fast paced environment.
  • Able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • You are a team player.
  • Genuine interest in the automotive industry.

Computer literacy is an asset.

Mechanically inclined is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in day to day operations by being the initial contact in providing customer service through pick-up and delivery of clients.
  • Ensure proper vehicle inspections on all vehicles upon rental returns.
  • Responsible for proper cleaning, interior and exterior, and maintenance of returning vehicles.
  • Maintain an organized cleaning bay area.
  • Assist clients with vehicle operation upon vehicle check out.
  • Photograph vehicles on check in and check out of each rental transaction.
  • Organize and maintain the rental parking lot.
  • Refuel vehicles as required.
  • Walk around vehicle inspections and report any vehicle damages.
  • Safely drive rental vehicles to and from various locations, including customer drop-offs, vehicle pickups, and maintenance centers.
  • Secure all rental vehicles upon closing each day.
  • Organize and clean vehicle cleaning bay area.
