Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching WT Taekwondo lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, fostering a safe and engaging learning environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' confidence and skills while promoting health and wellness through Martial Arts education.

Duties

  • Plan and deliver Taekwondo lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels
  • Demonstrate proper Taekwondo techniques and safety protocols
  • Monitor students during lessons to ensure safety and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe instructional environment
  • Assess student progress and provide guidance for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members regarding classes and student development
  • Assist in tournament prep lessons and managing rosters as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in teaching or instructing, especially in Taekwondo or related activities, is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Taekwondo techniques, Poomsae and Sparring rules
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages
  • Certification in WT Black Belt KKW, training can be provided for qualified candidates
  • Passion for teaching, patience, and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
