Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a
Logistics Coordinator
 to manage client files, from conception to completion. This position will allow you to work independently and take charge in creating a positive and successful relocation. This is a full-time position located in the north end of Toronto.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand, navigate, and advise customers on custom formalities (for personal effects) for most countries in the world.
  • Collect and communicate all relevant documents to customs, agents, accounts, and clients in accordance with industry FIDI FAIM requirements.
  • Coordinate and prepare delivery instructions tailored to each move based on terms of quote.
  • Audit invoices to ensure accurate billing.
  • Negotiate and book freight with land, ocean, and air carriers.
  • Track shipments and provide progress reports to clients and agents.
  • Obtain all the relevant data related to the international moves and feeding into the moving software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/college degree.
  • 5 years direct experience of coordination in the international relocation field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to learn and operate quickly.
  • Adapt to a variety of situations, use common sense, and solve problems effectively.
  • Well organized and work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Word and MS Excel.
