Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated areas on site.
  • Operate basic construction equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and carrying heavy loads.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area by disposing of debris and waste materials properly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on various responsibilities as needed.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing projects on time.
