Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Global Relay Full time

Who we are:

For over 25 years, Global Relay has set the standard in enterprise information archiving with industry-leading cloud archiving, surveillance, eDiscovery, and analytics solutions. We securely capture and preserve the communications data of the world's most highly regulated firms, giving them greater visibility and control over their information and ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.

Though we offer competitive compensation and benefits and all the other perks one would expect from an established company, we are not your typical technology company. Global Relay is a career-building company. A place for big ideas. New challenges. Groundbreaking innovation. It's a place where you can genuinely make an impact – and be recognized for it.

We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers.

Your role:

As Global Relay continues to grow, we are adding another Talent Acquisition Partner to support the continuous and exciting growth goals of our fast-paced SaaS company.

Your primary contribution will be to help drive the daily operations of Global Relay's recruitment efforts. As someone who is committed to increasing employee growth and engagement, you use industry-proven best practices - with a bit of your own twist. Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, you partner closely with leaders to understand business priorities, anticipate future talent needs, and deliver hiring strategies that support our continued growth. You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable thinking outside of the box. Although you're comfortable working as an individual contributor, you like the idea of working as part of a highly collaborative team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume full cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer and onboarding, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
  • Drives strategic HR initiatives including research, recommendations, and implementation of programs and policies
  • Acts as strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, talent mapping, and guidance on hiring strategies aligned with organizational growth
  • Builds talent pipelines using data-driven approaches, sourcing tools, and proactive workforce planning
  • Champions recruitment best practices, interview training, and employer branding to strengthen position as employer of choice
  • Establishes effective sourcing methods through networking, professional associations, headhunting, and referrals
  • Maintains accurate ATS records and ensures compliance with all hiring policies and practices throughout recruitment process
  • Conducts candidate application reviews, screening, interviews, and reference checks while managing external agency relationships
  • Serves as escalation point for recruitment issues and provides guidance and support to fellow team members
  • Represents company professionally at recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities
  • Compiles recruitment metrics and status reports to track effectiveness and informed decision-making

About you:

  • 5+ years of direct sourcing experience, preferably in high-tech software/SaaS industry
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders through data-driven insights and market knowledge
  • Strategic, consultative mindset capable of advising on talent availability and effective interview and selection strategies
  • Knowledge of relevant employment regulations, including employment standards and human rights legislation
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Greenhouse) and advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) with strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Solid project management experience with ability to manage moving timelines and changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organizational abilities to prioritize and multi-task
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
