JOB OVERVIEW: You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down glass and other surfaces.

Shift Type: Full Time/ Temporary
Shift Days: Monday- Friday
Shift Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $20.05/ hourly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive to multiple locations
  • Perform project-based cleaning, including deep cleaning, floor care, carpet extraction, and high-dust cleaning
  • Clean and maintain areas during or after construction, repairs, or upgrades
  • Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors as required
  • Clean washrooms, offices, common areas, warehouses, and specialty spaces
  • Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery
  • Remove garbage, recycling, and debris related to project work
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
  • WHMIS Certification an asset
  • Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
  • Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to 50lbs)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
  • Valid drivers license
  • Access to vehicle or other reliable transportation
  • Must be fully vaccinated
