Job Description

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Mobile Maintenance Administrator to join our Maintenance Team on a Monday to Friday basis. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and great communication skills.

What you're responsible for:

  • Administrative Management:
    • Responsible for the department administration tasks and document control
    • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory
    • Handle administrative correspondence, including mail, and phone calls
  • Document Control and Record Keeping:
    • Working with the Maintenance Manager to establish and maintain document control procedures.
    • Manage document flow, including filing, tracking, and archiving.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of documents.
    • Coordinate with other company departments for essential documents and tasks
    • Assist with preparation of cost tracking
    • Submission of purchase orders, invoice receival, and payment requests, and coordinate with the accounting department
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Facilitate effective communication and information flow within the office and between teams.
Qualifications
  • College or bachelor's degree in office administration is preferred
  • Previous experience as an Administrator, Assistant, Coordinator or in a similar administrative role
  • Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
