Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and glass installation, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves working with various types of auto glass, including windshield replacements and repairs, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Duties

  • Install and replace automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
  • Perform repairs on damaged glass using appropriate techniques and materials.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for glass installation and removal.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess glass damage and determine necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding services performed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including advancements in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology.

Experience

  • Previous experience in automotive glass installation or repair is preferred.
  • Dealership experience is a plus, as it provides familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
  • Knowledge of ADAS systems is advantageous for proper calibration during glass replacement.
  • Skills in window tinting, auto body repair, detailing, assembly, and automotive estimating are beneficial.
  • Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle systems related to glass installation.
  • Experience with heavy lifting as required for handling large pieces of glass safely.

Job Type: Permanent
