, et s'adresse à des organisations œuvrant dans des environnements variés : distribution, manufacturier, industriel, minier et chaînes d'approvisionnement complexes.
Responsabilités principales
Pre-Sales & accompagnement des ventes
- Agir comme référence experte (SME) pour soutenir les cycles de vente, en collaboration étroite avec l'équipe de développement des affaires.
- Analyser les processus existants et identifier des opportunités d'amélioration en planification de la demande, planification de l'approvisionnement et de la production, ainsi qu'en gestion des stocks.
- Analyser les données clients à l'aide de Slim4 afin de modéliser des scénarios de prévision, réapprovisionnement, production et capacité, et traduire les enjeux d'affaires en solutions concrètes et à valeur ajoutée.
- Préparer et livrer des démonstrations personnalisées de Slim4, basées sur les données réelles et le contexte opérationnel des clients.
- Participer activement aux revues de propositions, aux discussions commerciales et aux négociations contractuelles.
- Soutenir le démarrage
(kick-off)
de projets complexes lors de l'implantation de nouveaux clients stratégiques.
Expertise, développement et rayonnement
- Développer et maintenir une expertise reconnue en Demand & Supply Planning, planification de production, S&OP / IBP et intelligence d'affaires appliquée à la chaîne d'approvisionnement.
- Interagir avec des directeurs et vice-présidents des opérations, de la chaîne d'approvisionnement ou de la planification, afin de challenger les pratiques actuelles et positionner Slim4 comme un outil d'aide à la décision stratégique.
- Identifier et stimuler les opportunités de croissance (upsell et cross-sell) auprès des clients existants.
- Contribuer aux initiatives marketing locales (événements, conférences, contenus, présentations clients).
- Se tenir à jour quant à l'évolution des produits et des meilleures pratiques afin de proposer des solutions adaptées à des environnements opérationnels complexes (multi-sites, multi-niveaux, contraintes de capacité, longs délais, forte variabilité).
Profil recherché
Formation et expérience
- Diplôme universitaire requis
- Maîtrise en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement ou domaine connexe (atout important)
- 5 à 7 ans d'expérience en planification de la demande, planification supply chain, planification de production ou rôle similaire
- Expérience dans des environnements B2B complexes (atout)
Compétences clés
- Excellente maîtrise de SQL et Excel
- Solides capacités analytiques et de résolution de problèmes
- Excellentes habiletés en communication, présentation et vulgarisation
- Approche consultative, orientée valeur et résultats
- Capacité à comprendre et expliquer des enjeux opérationnels complexes à des décideurs
- Excellentes compétences relationnelles et collaboratives

Pre-Sales & Account Manager – Québec
Role Overview
As part of Slimstock Québec's growth team, the Pre-Sales & Account Manager plays a key role in supporting complex sales cycles. Acting as a solution and domain expert, you work closely with the sales team to deeply understand prospects' and customers' operational challenges and design high-value solutions using the Slim4 platform.
This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and business decision-making, supporting organizations operating in diverse environments such as distribution, manufacturing, industrial and mining supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Sales Enablement
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support sales cycles in close collaboration with the Business Development team.
- Analyze current processes and identify improvement opportunities in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and inventory management.
- Analyze customer data using Slim4 to model forecasting, replenishment, production and capacity planning scenarios, translating business challenges into practical, value-driven solutions.
- Prepare and deliver tailored Slim4 demonstrations, using real customer data and reflecting each client's operational context.
- Actively participate in proposal reviews, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Support project kick-offs for complex implementations with new strategic customers.
Expertise, Account Development & Market Presence
- Build and maintain recognized expertise in Demand & Supply Planning, Production Planning, S&OP / IBP, and supply chain analytics.
- Engage with Supply Chain Directors, Operations Directors and Vice Presidents to challenge existing planning processes and position Slim4 as a strategic decision-support platform.
- Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Contribute to local marketing initiatives, including events, presentations, conferences and thought-leadership content.
- Stay current on product developments and best practices to address complex operational environments, including multi-site networks, multi-echelon planning, capacity constraints, long lead times and high variability.
Profile & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- University degree required
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (strong asset)
- 5–7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, production planning or a related role
- Experience in complex B2B environments (asset)

- Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
