Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team Bean Pemberton. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Assist with food preparation and handling, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Uphold quality control measures by regularly checking product freshness and presentation.
  • Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote menu items.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with cashiering duties and operating POS systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
