SummaryThe Bell Business Markets (BBM) Technical Sales Solution Specialist delivers innovative solutions through targeted activities focused on Belden cabling solutions, in parallel with an important Bell strategic partner. This position requires strong sales skills, business acumen and the ability to drive sales with Bell's large enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development - solicit new and existing customers to foster relationships, schedule meetings, generate demand and close business.
- Understand customers' short- and long-term business needs and challenges to effectively identify business opportunities for intent-based cabling solutions.
- Execute appropriate sales strategies in conjunction with Account Managers and Solution Architects to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage the planning, follow-up and execution of customer events for cabling practice presentations.
- On a regular basis, produce a summary of opportunities and results to track the success of the practice.
- Serve as the customer's single point of contact during the sales process.
- Dedicate time to continuing education by exploring and studying new technologies, both in-house and externally.
- College or university degree in computer science or combination of education and work experience relevant to the role.
- Understand customers' short- and long-term needs and challenges in order to effectively identify business opportunities for cabling solutions.
- Pre-sales activities: ability to sell to senior customer executives, with the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and quickly establish credibility with customers.
- Mastery of structured cabling solutions and LAN and WAN concepts.
- Experience in positioning and selling solutions in the IT world.
- Ability to demonstrate product benefits and organize customer demonstrations.
- Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to customer requests and to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating on the development of sales strategies.
- Interest in new technologies, innovations and IoT solutions.
- Ability to innovate and take initiative.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is an asset.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
