Pillar5 Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated individual to join our Microbiology & Sterility Assurance Team as a Microbiology Analyst. As a Microbiology Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our pharmaceutical products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Recording, analyze, and interpret environmental monitoring results from the aseptic processing area and the non- aseptic processing areas.
  • Analyze and interpret test results and prepare accurate reports for documentation.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve any microbiological issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B. Sc. or a College Diploma in Microbiology, Biology or Biochemistry. Courses in Microbiology are considered an asset.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant laboratory work experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices, Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $52,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
