Technical Product Manager, Data and AI Architecture, Enterprise Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the development and ongoing governance of AI and Data technologies within the Enterprise Architecture team and broader RBC. This individual will be responsible for contributing and executing our strategy, roadmap and community engagement, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and compliance with Data and AI standards. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and business stakeholders, to help deliver scalable, secure, and innovative Data and AI solutions that drive business transformation. The product manager needs to be technical, with some development background and with the appetite to get hands on with Vibe Coding using Agentic development technologies. The Product Manager must be experienced with using Generative AI assistant tools to automate document creation, with a strong understanding of prompt engineering

What will you do?

Product Strategy and Roadmap Development. Define and maintain the product strategy, and roadmap for Data and AI, within Enterprise Architecture, aligning to group priorities and business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize features, capabilities, and use cases Data and AI Architecture Product Lifecycle Management. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Data and AI Architecture governance and internal Agent development. Help define and implement governance frameworks for Data and AI, including security, risk management, and compliance Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement. Build and lead a community of practitioners across the organization to drive the adoption and effective use of Agentic AI. Partner with Line of Business (LOB) teams to identify opportunities for modernization and transformation using Agentic AI and where Data/AI governance needs to evolve Performance Measurement and Optimization. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Data & AI initiatives. Continuously optimize processes, tools, and technologies used to deliver our products Product Leadership and Mentorship.  Provide product leadership and mentorship to our team of engineers and partners, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Author white papers and points of view. Help communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure strong architecture governance practices. Oversee the automation of governance activities using AI, GitOps, Policy as code and LeanIX. Ensure technical reference models and patterns are up to date. Get Hands On with Agentic Development. Demonstrate Vibe coding using AI skills from a Product Manager angle. Help demonstrate the use of these tools to quickly prototype concepts.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

• Proven experience as a Product Manager with expertise in leading the design and build of enterprise-grade solutions.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.\
• Experience with Jira and Agile concepts
• Strong knowledge and experience in Generative AI and Data platform technologies
• Familiarity with AI agents and understanding of agentic AI concepts (e.g. MCP, RAG, reasoning, planning, multi-agent systems).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GitHub and CICD
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Some programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or similar.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity tooling and infrastructure for AI agents, such as Agent Gateways, registries, or control planes.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and principles
• LeanIX APM experience
