JOB POSTING – CLASS 4 OR 5 DRIVER

Desired qualifications:

· Must possess a Class 5 Driver's License, Class 4 Driver's license would be preferred

· Communication in English, both written and verbal

· Good knowledge of French an asset

· Must obtain a successful completion of Adult Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Checks

· Emergency First Aid

· Must be able to maintain good positive working relations with others

· Must be inclined to work with people with intellectual disabilities

· Must regard participants and co-workers with respect and dignity

· Must adhere to the Agency Guide to ALIDA

Duties

· Must be capable of driving a regular van, ability to drive a 15-passenger van (Class 4) would be an asset

· Work Part-time hours

· Must be available for work between 7:00am and 9:00am (pick-up) (approximately)

· Must be available for work between 3:15pm and 5:15pm (drop-off) (approximately)

· Must be physically capable of assisting clients in and out of van as well as walkers or other medical equipment

Start Date: January 2026

Salary: Starting at $20.23/hr. as per union agreement
