Server/Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional hospitality.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.
• Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced register.
• Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
