EXPERIENCED DRIVER
Looking for an individual who meets the following criteria: motivated, reliable, optimistic, well-mannered, works well under pressure, team player, friendly, good hygiene, bonded, well-spoken, knowledge of city and surrounding areas, valid driver's license, good driver's abstract will need to be submitted upon request.
Driver will handle freight as necessary with pallet jack and power tailgate to load/unload when necessary. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit. Safely operate 5 ton truck on city streets as well as highways, must be familiar with truck routes in Winnipeg. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Must have cell phone capable of texting and taking/sending pictures, steel toe foot ware, safety vest, hard hat and safety glasses. Lifting is required 5 lbs to 100 lbs, Must speak English. Drivers are REQUIRED to keep their vehicle clean inside and out, do a daily walk around the vehicle and report any issues.
Start times from 7:30 am till 4 pm Monday to Friday, no weekends. Pay periods are on the 15th and the end of the month. If either the 15th or end of month falls on a weekend pay will be given on the Friday. We observe all major holidays.
There is a 3-month probation period.
Wage depending on experience.
