Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the Atlas-Apex brand and support the growth of the branch Promote a positive company image through quality service to ensure employee, customer and supplier satisfaction
  • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce company protocols
  • Foster a customer-centric environment where caring, responsive service is paramount
  • Monitor work orders for accuracy to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Develop new customer relationships and new business for the branch
  • Manage team within a fast paced, customer-focused environment including hiring and scheduling
  • Provide professional development for employees through, coaching, mentoring and training with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees
  • Measure workforce effectiveness, create objectives, deliver performance reviews, and address performance gaps
  • Oversee employees and sub-contractors in successfully completing projects in a timely and efficient manner to meet or exceed profit goals on each job
  • Responsible for achieving targets linked to the P&L of the Branch
  • In collaboration with the Senior Management group, establish branch short / long-term planning and budget levels to support strategic business objectives
  • Direct branch's internal operations and manage branch performance, resource allocation and policy to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria
  • Participate in the development and execution of the branch's marketing and sales strategy
  • Provide input of inventory requirements to achieve market penetration goals
  • Offer feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures
  • Ensure the branch is operating at peak performance at all times
  • Assisting with all other areas of the company

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the industrial, commercial flat roofing industry, in either supervision or work experience is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend job specifications and contract documents. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to clients, consultants, and other employees within the company as needed.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems in a creative manner.
  • Ability to relate well to all kinds of people, can build constructive and effective relationships using diplomacy and tact.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work at fast paced professional level.
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license with clean abstract
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
