Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. This role requires a strong understanding of different operating systems such as Android and iOS, as well as proficiency with computer hardware and software troubleshooting. The technician will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our retail customers and ensuring devices are functioning optimally.

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately
  • Perform repairs using hand tools and other specialized equipment
  • Troubleshoot operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows on mobile devices
  • Conduct analysis to determine root causes of device malfunctions and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Assist customers with device setup, updates, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
  • Stay updated on the latest mobile device technologies, operating system updates, and repair techniques

Requirements

  • Proven experience with mobile device repair or related technical roles
  • Strong knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems; familiarity with macOS and Windows is a plus
  • Experience with retail sales environments is desirable
  • Proficiency in using schematics, hand tools, and diagnostic software for troubleshooting
  • Understanding of computer hardware components related to mobile devices
  • Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work with various mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members

Pay: $34,400.00-$60,465.18 per year
