Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, passionate and dedicated Level Two or Three Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. . The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for Infant children, fostering their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to actively engage with children in a way that promotes learning through play and exploration. While also fostering strong bonds of trust with parents and children. This position is part time only, Mornings to be exact. May lead into full time as more children join, however for now we are looking for someone 4 hours per day only.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves freely.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Utilize effective time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks.
  • Support children with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Do school drop offs and picks ups as needed

Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Education Diploma or related field preferred.
  • Experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire young learners.
  • Proficient in computer operation for record keeping and lesson planning purposes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities within the classroom setting.
  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.
  • Class 5 license with clean driving record would be a plus
